Refund Policy

Quant Data Fetch is a digital software license. This page explains when refunds are available and how to request one. Please read before purchasing.
1. Default: No Refund After Activation
Once you sign in to the desktop client and activate your license, the digital good has been delivered. As a general rule we do not issue refunds for activated licenses.
EU buyers: under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m), the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to digital content once delivery has begun with the consumer's express prior consent. By completing checkout and accessing the license, you provide that consent.
2. Try Before You Buy
To avoid mismatched expectations, please:
- Download the free client and evaluate functionality, performance and stability against your workflow;
- Review the Features and FAQ pages;
- Email support@quantdatafetch.com before purchase if anything is unclear.
3. When We Do Refund
We offer refunds in the following situations:
- Duplicate charge caused by our payment system — refunded automatically;
- Critical bug we cannot fix within 14 days that blocks core functionality (data download, viewing, export, or API);
- Service permanently discontinued due to force majeure (regulatory change, vendor termination affecting all data sources) — prorated refund based on time remaining in the major-version cycle;
- Statutory rights available to you under your local consumer protection law that we cannot waive (e.g. UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the software is not of satisfactory quality).
4. When We Do Not Refund
- You no longer want the software for personal reasons (e.g. changed workflow);
- You did not read the feature list and discovered missing functionality after purchase;
- You experience problems caused by third-party data source price increases or API breakage outside our control;
- You purchased on behalf of someone who did not authorize the purchase;
- Request submitted more than 30 calendar days after purchase (unless agreed in writing).
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@quantdatafetch.com with the subject line
Refund request; - Include: order number, account email, reason for refund, supporting evidence (screenshots / logs if applicable);
- We respond as quickly as possible and verify eligibility. If approved, the refund is processed via the original payment method (Stripe) and typically arrives within 5-14 business days.
6. Chargebacks
We prefer to resolve disputes through email before any chargeback is filed. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension and license invalidation. If we believe a chargeback is unjustified we will contest it with payment provider evidence (purchase records, activation logs, support correspondence).
